This website

The website sets no cookies. It remembers your light or dark colour choice, if you make one, in your browser’s local storage under the name ev-site-theme. That value is not sent to us.

The app

The app sets no cookies. While you are logged in it keeps a working copy of your data in local storage under the names ev.cfg, ev.extra and ev.import, and the browser keeps a cache of the app’s own files. It also keeps ev.sync and ev.owner (which account the working copy belongs to) in local storage, and the key to your saved numbers in the browser’s IndexedDB storage. It keeps ev.acct (your email address and whether it is confirmed) in local storage and a login token in IndexedDB. Logging out removes your numbers, the key and the login from the browser. It also keeps ev.gate in local storage (whether this server is for members only, and whether this browser has logged in before). The website and the app live at different addresses, so they cannot read each other’s storage.

Analytics

No analytics are running on this website today. If a cookieless tool is added later, this page and the privacy policy will say which, and what it records. The app counts how often each page is opened. Page counts set no cookies and add nothing to your browser’s storage.

Third parties

Nothing on this website loads third-party scripts, fonts or images. In the app, the Die with zero intro video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player only after you press play.
